Chris Jones Thou Art at the Baton Rouge Art League 60th Annual Art Exhibit

Baton Rouge Art League 60th Annual Art Exhibit and Reception: LSU Rural Life Museum, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, April 11th, (4pm until 7 pm) and April 12th until 2:00p.m.

Above is my entry for the Baton Rouge Art League's Exhibit which takes place this weekend at the LSU Rural Life Museum.  A portion of the entry fee paid by the artists will be donated toward the preservation and restoration at Rural Life.  This is a color pencil sketch of one of my favorite subject matters as most that know me can attest.  All of these paintings are available for purchase. Last year there were over 157 pieces entered into that show.  As with most exhibits, there will be refreshments to enjoy as well.  I am looking forward to meeting  new artists as well as visiting with my old friends. I have recently joined LAAG and currently serving as President of the Denham Springs Fine Art Association. In order to show, you are invited by the Art League and I am honored for being invited to participate in this years show. The exhibit is open to the public.  It's an art exhibit you will not want to miss.
Congratulations to Margaret Champagne Womack Hart on the purchase of this painting. Hope you enjoy this Pretty ImPORKant Pig!
