Here is my Baton Rouge Art League entry into their show held at the LSU Rural Life Museum on April 23rd & 24th. My painting is an 8" x 10" pastel that is matted and framed priced at $150. The reception was fabulous as always!

Baton Rouge Art League Annual Art Exhibit and Reception: LSU Rural Life Museum, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, April 8th, (4pm until 7 pm) and April 9th until 2:00p.m.
Above is my entry for the Baton Rouge Art League's Exhibit which takes place this weekend at the LSU Rural Life Museum. A portion of the entry fee paid by the artists will be donated toward the preservation and restoration at Rural Life. This is a pastel painting of one of my favorite subject matters, birds, as most that know me can attest. All of these paintings are available for purchase. Last year there were over 140 pieces entered into that show. I am looking forward to meeting new artists as well as visiting with my old friends. I am a member of LAAG and currently serving as President of the Denham Springs Fine Art Association for the fourth consecutive year.. In order to show, you are invited by the Art League and I am honored for being invited to participate in this year's show. The exhibit will be held over on Sunday so the public might be able to enjoy the show, museum and grounds at its regular fees. It's an art exhibit you will not want to miss.
