I was fortunate enough to be able to attend this wonderful workshop this week at Burden's Windrush Gardens. Alan Flattmann gave a wonderful demo of plein air painting at the old Windrush Gardens.He chose the Garden House as his subject with the beautiful dappled lighting. It was extremely informative and I had such a wonderful time learning from this Master Pastelist.Please enjoy!

Chris Bajon Jones of Denham Springs, LA along with Pat Zeller of Denham Springs, LA will be the guest artist for February, March and April 2014 at the South Branch Library, 23477 Highway in Livingston, LA. The exhibit “Thou Art Jones and Company” can be seen during regular business hours: Monday and Wednesday: 9a.m. – 6p.m., Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 a.m. -8 p.m., Friday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Jones and Zeller are members of the Denham Springs Fine Art Association. Chris Jones is currently serving as President and Pat Zeller is serving on the board of directors.

This painting sold before I could even post it. Sorry about the cropped image but the painting was too large for my scanner and I did not want to risk feeding it through. The painting sold tiptoeing feet and all!
